These are images of my work installed and ready to be sold at the pop-up store in Carlton that I've been involved with setting up and am now working at a few days a week.. It's yet to be named but it's already filled with great crafty/handmade things/vintage clothing/bric-a-brac. Do pop in and have a look, it's on Drummond St in Carlton, near the corner of Elgin St..
To check out a recent article on it, Dan from Milk Bar mag has written one here.

These are some new necklaces that I've been working on. Very appropriately the idea occurred to me when I was wanting to make something for a dear friend for her birthday..
I can't help but think, when making these, about how I've been making jewellery since I was in primary school, when these were first in fashion (in my lifetime anyway..) and how I even had my own business (I can call it that, I had business cards!) - Shazzy's Jazzy Jewellery and Art. Such a nerd!

Wow. I don't quite know how to word how much I love these necklaces! They're made by Kerry Howley, a jewellery student in Cambridge, England, entirely from human hair. Suffice it to say, I'm in awe.
