Steps to a knit stitch

I've put these images together for an upcoming feature.. I've become rather obsessed with crochet recently, I'd almost forgotten how relaxing knitting is.. I love the repetition of it and the fact that unlike with crochet I can actually watch a movie while I do it!

A quick trial run of hair stitched into a shoulder pad.. incidentally, half a broken heart was tattooed onto my arm last week and it's other half onto my sister's. I'm feeling a bit obsessed with it's ambiguous shape at the moment.

Rediscovering this disposable camera pic (taken by Luci) of myself with an icecream has just served to make me even more busting to get my own filmic efforts back! All those Tasmania pics just waiting to be viewed..

My very dear friend Sarah and her friend Rose are opening a store, unfortunately for me it's in Auckland but that doesn't make it any less awesome. Here's a few photos from our trip to Tasmania. It is such a beautiful island, a week was definitely not long enough to properly explore it. More pics coming soon when I get my disposable camera developed - gone are the days of 1 hour processing! I have to wait two whole weeks..
